I am a Professional Genealogist living in Northern Michigan. My family searches have taken me into records from Italy/Sicily, Finland, Russia, and Greece; as well as Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan in the USA. I have also researched extensively in England, Ireland, and Germany, and also domestically in Kentucky, Ohio, and most of the East Coast, looking for documentation dating back to before the Mayflower.
I have been told that my hobbies are strange…walking thru cemeteries, translating old documents, practicing old script writing, and dating photographs are just a few of the things I like to do.
Thanks for joining me on my journey into the genealogy world. Please make sure your seat belt is fastened securely and keep your hands and feet inside the car at all times….you’re in for quite a ride!
Great meeting you. Your chosen profession must be total fascinating. What is it about cemeteries that draws so many of us to them? The history behind the epitaphs?
It has been a while since I have seen any postings from you. I hope all is well and you will soon be posting once more.
